Coverage Changes
- Changes to benefits or services covered by the plan, such as new or removed services or changes to restrictions like prior authorizations or step therapy.
Cost Changes
- Updates to premiums, deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance amounts.
- Changes to the cost of prescription drugs, particularly for Part D plans. This might include changes to the formulary (the list of covered drugs)and different pricing tiers for medications.
Provider Network Changes
- Information about changes in the network of doctors, hospitals, or pharmacies that are available through the plan. This is especially relevant for Medicare Advantage plans, which often have specific networks.
Pharmacy and Drug Changes
- Any changes to the list of covered drugs, or the tiers in which drugs are placed, for Part D plans.
